VINCE SANDOVAL

Vince earned his MBA degree from New York University with a specialization in Marketing and Media and Entertainment at 25. He has interned in the International Distribution departments of the Weinstein Company and Focus Features. He has also done marketing for Zeitgeist Films, independent film distributor based in New York City, working on their documentary releases, “Up The Yangtze” and “Chris and Don: A Love Story”. In 2006, he managed the US theatrical distribution of the Academy Award-shortlisted documentary “Favela Rising”, a look at the Afro-Reggae movement in Brazil which kept young people off drugs and violence in the streets. He has been involved with Video Volunteers and FilmAid International, social media agencies which both empower indigent communities through film and video.
Prior to business school, Vince worked in brand management for two years in Unilever Philippines. In 2001, he was the Asian winner of the United Nations’ Dialogue Among Civilizations international essay tilt and was recognized as the Jose Rizal Model Student of the Philippines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of San Carlos in Cebu.

Despite having studied law and being a holder of a business degree at the University of the Philippines, Darlene decided to spend most if not all of her time in media and entertainment.
Janice holds a Bachelors degree in Accountancy from University of San Carlos in Cebu, Philippines. She has worked in Accounting in the private and non-profit sectors for the last six years in New York. In 2006, she bought a consumer-ready DV camera and shot a short documentary in Cebu without any prior knowhow of filmmaking. Later that year, she completed a 16mm Filmmaking course at the New York Film Academy. She has worked with the Tribeca Int'l Film Festival, the NY Latino Film Festival, the South Bronx Film Festival, and many others, and at the IFP Film Week Programs from 2006-2008.
